| Delhi is northern India’s largest city and part of it known as New Delhi is officially designated the capital of India. Indira Gandhi International Airport is the arrival point for many visitors into Delhi. The easiest and safest way to get from the airport to the city is to arrange transport ahead of time through your hotel. Alternative you can pay for a taxi at the prepaid taxi booth at the international terminal. It is also possible to take city bus during the day or a private one that runs 24 hrs a day. There are many rich historical places to visit in Delhi represented by the numerous monuments. Some of the places we recommend to visit; Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Complex, Nehru House, India Gate, National Musuem. Delhi is a shopper's haven, but only if you're not afraid to haggle and bump elbows in bazaars. |
